Getting Started
Connect your application to BOS
Get started with the Betazu BOS API by creating an API key, storing it securely, and using it to authenticate your requests.
1
Create an API key
Open your BOS application settings and create an API key for the application you want to connect.
API key secret
The secret is shown only once.
2
Add the API key to your environment
Store the secret on your server as an environment variable. Do not hard-code it in your application.
.env
BETAZU_BOS_API_KEY=bz_live_...Keep your API key private
Never commit your API key to source control or expose it in browser-side code.
3
Authenticate your request
Send your API key using the Authorization header.
HTTP
Authorization: Bearer bz_live_...4
Make your first request
Once your API key is configured, you can start working with BOS resources such as leads.
cURL
curl https://www.betazu.com/api/v1/leads \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $BETAZU_BOS_API_KEY"Replace the endpoint with the BOS resource you want to access.
You're ready
